BRIEF HISTORY

As Autumn Calls is a melodic death doom metal band that was formed in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada in 2005. After 3 years of writing together, they recorded their first full length album titled ‘An Autumn Departure’. ‘An Autumn Departure’ has yet to be released due to inconsistent recording quality. This is because the album was recorded over a long period of time and Andrew and James had limited knowledge regarding the recording process. A number of songs from ‘An Autumn Departure’ may be re-recorded and released in the future.

In the spring of 2009, As Autumn Calls began writing and recording a three song EP titled ‘Emotionless’. ‘Emotionless’ was recorded and mixed by As Autumn Calls and mastered by Sardonic Moon Studio in Sudbury, ON. The album was released in December 2009. The band is also working on a full length album titled ‘Cold, Black and Everlasting’ that will be released sometime in 2011. This new material will merge the doomy atmosphere of their previous work, with a number of different styles of metal.
